The Collective: An Open Mic Series
Each month The Bridge Music Project host an open mic night designed to serve youth who are currently experiencing homelessness. These open mics are held at a local shelter near Downtown, Olympia.
The mission behind this project is to provide Olympia’s homeless youth an opportunity to engage in the arts using a format that meets them on their level. This project also introduces the concept that music and writing can be used as tools to deal with lives challenges. These events include all different styles of music and expression from poetry to live instruments.
